Rumour: Ducati Streetfighter V4 India launch pushed to 2021

According to a media report, Ducati has deferred the launch of the Streetfighter V4 to 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The bike was initially scheduled to launch this year.

The report states that product launches that were planned for Q2 2020 have also been delayed because of the temporary suspension of production. Although, Ducati has now resumed operations at its Borgo Panigale factory in Italy.

The Streetfighter V4 is a naked version of the Panigale V4. It features minimal bodywork with twin LED headlights and a digital instrument cluster.

The bike is available in two variants - V4 and V4S. Both use the same 1,103cc engine from the Panigale V4 superbike. It produces 208 BHP @ 12,750 rpm and 123 Nm @ 11,500 rpm.

The Streetfigher V4 features Showa 43 mm fork suspension at the front with a Sach steering damper and a Sachs monoshock at the rear. The V4S gets Ohlins suspension at both ends. Both variants get twin 330 mm discs at the front and a single 245 mm disc at the rear.
