Rumour: Hyundai Venue bookings open on May 2, 2019

According to a media report, bookings for the Hyundai Venue are expected to open on May 2, 2019. The new compact SUV is likely to be launched on May 21.

Reports suggest that customers will be able to place bookings for the Venue online as well. Cars booked online will be delivered by the Hyundai dealer closest to the buyer.

The Hyundai Venue will be available with three engine options, including a 1.0-litre, turbocharged petrol engine with 118 BHP and 172 Nm of torque, which will be paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission or a manual transmission. The SUV will also be offered with a 1.2-litre petrol engine producing 82 BHP and 115 Nm of torque and a 1.4-litre diesel unit that makes 89 BHP and 220 Nm of torque. These engines will be paired with a 5-speed manual and 6-speed manual transmissions respectively.
