Rumour: Hyundai Venue facelift bookings open unofficially

Rumours suggest that the Venue facelift could be launched in June 2022.

Hyundai is gearing up to launch the Venue facelift in India and reports suggest that some dealerships have already started accepting bookings for the updated model.

It is said that dealers are taking bookings for the Venue facelift for a refundable token amount of Rs 11,000. Rumours also suggest that the car could be launched as early as next month.

Spy images suggest that the Venue facelift will get a redesigned front grille and a completely reworked rear fascia. The crossover will feature L-shaped LED headlamps and a redesigned tailgate and bumper.

The updated Venue is expected to be offered with the same engine options as the current model. These include a 998cc turbo petrol with 118 BHP and 172 Nm, 1.2-litre petrol producing 82 BHP and 115 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel that makes 99 BHP and 240 Nm. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual, 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.
