Rumour: Innova Hycross to be the first Toyota with ADAS in India

The Innova Hycross is expected to be unveiled in India on November 25, 2022.

The upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross is likely to be the brand’s first model in India to be offered with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

According to a media report, the Innova Hycross will come equipped with a ‘Safety Sense’ suite which includes features like lane keep assist, auto high-beam assist, adaptive cruise control, forward collision avoidance, lane departure warning and road sign alerts. The MPV will also get up to 7 airbags, vehicle stability control, a 360-degree camera and parking sensors at the front and rear.

Reports also suggest that the Innova Hycross will be offered with a 2.0-litre petrol hybrid drivetrain powering the front axle. There will be no diesel engine option. Maruti Suzuki could offer a rebadged version of the MPV as well.

The Toyota Innova Hycross is expected to make its debut on November 21 in Indonesia. It has been reported that the MPV will be unveiled in India on November 25, 2022.
