Rumour: Kia Seltos bookings open in second week of July 2019

According to a media report, Kia is likely to start accepting bookings for the Seltos from the second week of July 2019.

Earlier this week, Kia unveiled the Seltos SUV in India. It has a tiger nose grille with LED headlights and a dual-tone front bumper with a pair of fog lamps. At the rear, the Seltos gets wraparound tail lights with a chrome garnish and it rides on dual-tone alloy wheels. 

Inside, the Seltos is likely to get dual-tone interiors and a 3-spoke, multi-function steering wheel. It is expected to get a touchscreen infotainment system with Kia's UVO Connect features. It will be offered with a wide range of safety features including 6 airbags, ABS with brake assist, ESC, Hill Start Assist Control, Vehicle Stability Management, traction control and a 360-degree camera with Blind View Monitor as well as front and rear parking sensors.

The Kia Seltos is expected to get BS-VI compliant petrol, turbo petrol and diesel engines, while transmission options might include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic, a CVT and a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
