Mahindra KUV100 NXT launch on October 10, 2017

Mahindra will launch the KUV100 NXT on October 10, 2017. The KUV100 facelift was recently spotted at a dealership, hinting its impending launch. The refreshed model gets revised exterior styling with some interior tweaks and new equipment. It gets a new front bumper with a silver scuff plate and fog lamp surrounds in black plastic. The larger, lower grille is functional while the top portion with the Mahindra logo and claw-like chrome inserts is purely a styling feature. The headlamp clusters are similar to the current model, but have a twin-pod structure which merge into the black trim around the front fender.

Moving to the side, the squared-off wheel arches get extra plastic cladding. New 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels will be found on higher variants. ORVMs get integrated turn signals while the rear door handle is now finished in black instead of silver. At the rear, the KUV100 NXT gets clear lens tail lamps and a new bumper. An additional plastic cover has been added on the side of the rear spoiler.

The interior of the KUV100 NXT gets minor changes. These include a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment and fewer control knobs on the centre console. The interior is wrapped in black upholstery instead of a dual-tone on the outgoing model.

According to some media reports, the KUV100 NXT will be offered with updated petrol and diesel engines that are believed to be more fuel efficient. While, the final specifications are not yet known, currently, the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine makes 85 BHP and 115 Nm while the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder diesel makes 77 BHP and 190 Nm of torque.
