Rumour: Maruti Ertiga & XL6 to get new features

According to a media report, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and XL6 are likely to gain new features.

The report states that both MPVs could get additional airbags, a wireless smartphone charger and larger wheels and tyres.

The cars are not expected to get any mechanical changes. Both cars are powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 103 BHP and 138 Nm. Maruti offers a 5-speed manual transmission as standard, while a 4-speed automatic is available as an option.

The timeline for the launch of the updated Ertiga and XL6 is not known.
