Rumour: Mercedes-Benz G 350d launch on October 16, 2019

Mercedes-Benz is likely to launch the G 350d in India on October 16, 2019.

The second-generation G-Class gets an updated front fascia featuring new LED headlights and LED tail lights and a redesigned interior. It has a digital instrument cluster, a touchscreen infotainment system and a 3-spoke multi-function steering wheel.

The G 350d is expected to be powered by a 3.0-litre, 6-cylinder diesel engine that produces 282 BHP and 600 Nm. The engine is likely to be paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel-drive system.

At present, Mercedes-Benz only offers the AMG G 63 in India. It comes with an AMG grille and bodykit as well as larger wheels. It is powered by a 4.0-litre V8 engine that generates 577 BHP and 850 Nm of torque.
