Rumour: MG Hector facelift India launch on January 5, 2023

The updated MG Hector is likely to go on sale in India early next year.

Last week, we reported that MG was planning to launch the updated Hector in India by the end of December. The information was shared on the company's official Instagram. However, according to latest reports, the launch has been pushed to 2023. It is said that that MG Hector facelift will now launch on January 5, 2023.

The new Hector gets a bold new grille and a redesigned front bumper, along with a few minor changes to the rear. On the inside, the 2022 Hector will be equipped with a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 3-spoke steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster. More importantly, the SUV will now be offered with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

The new Hector will be mechanically identical to the outgoing model. It will continue to use the same 2.0-litre diesel, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre mild-hybrid powertrains.
