Rumours suggest that Nissan is working on a new 7-seater MPV. It could be priced at under Rs. 10 lakh.

Although at present, not a lot of information is available, the MPV could share its underpinnings with the Renault Triber, which means it could be based on a modified version of the CMF-A platform.

The Nissan MPV could be offered with a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine from the Triber and 1.0-litre turbo petrol from the Magnite. Besides a manual transmission, the car could also get an optional automatic gearbox.
