Rumour: Skoda Kushaq Monte Carlo launch on May 9

Some report suggest that the Kushaq Monte Carlo could be offered with the 1.5-litre TSI engine only.

According to a media report, Skoda is likely to launch the Kushaq Monte Carlo in India on May 9, 2022.

The Kushaq is expected to get a few cosmetic changes similar to previous Monte Carlo models. These include an all-black radiator grille with smoked LED headlamps, gloss black exterior trim, black ORVMs, roof rails and new 17-inch alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Kushaq Monte Carlo could get a black interior with red trim and dual-tone upholstery with red highlights. This variant is expected to be loaded with features such as a digital instrument cluster, a sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, auto-dimming IRVM, ventilated front seats and a 6-speaker audio system.

The Kushaq Monte Carlo is likely to be offered with the same petrol engine options as the standard Kushaq. These include 1.0-litre 3-cylinder TSI that makes 113 BHP and 178 Nm and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder TSI that puts out 148 BHP and 250 Nm, while transmission options will include a 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.

Reports suggest that the Kushaq Monte Carlo could be offered in two colour options - Red and White.
