Rumour: Skoda Octavia RS 245 almost sold out

According to a media report, the Skoda Octavia RS 245 is almost sold out in India. A total of 200 units were imported as completely built units (CBUs) and out of these, it is said that only a few cars are available with select dealers.

Bookings for the Octavia RS 245 had opened in February, this year. The car is priced at Rs. 35,99,599 (ex-showroom, India).

The Octavia RS 245 is powered by a 2.0-litre, turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 242 BHP @ 5,000-6,700 rpm and 370 Nm of torque @ 1,600-4,300 rpm. The engine is paired with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission.

It comes with a different front bumper with rectangular fog lamps, smoked headlamps and a gloss black grille. The car gets a boot spoiler and steel exhaust tips. It rides on 18-inch alloy wheels and has sports suspension.
