Tata Motors is expected to launch the Nexon facelift later this year. The latest reports suggest that the crossover could be offered in 10 variants and would use a new variant nomenclature.
According to a media report, the Nexon facelift will drop its current variant naming convention and will get trim names similar to the Tata Punch; which comes in Pure, Creative, Accomplish and Dazzle trims.
Besides a major cosmetic overhaul, the Nexon will also get an updated interior with new features. The car will come equipped with a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster. It will also get a new 2-spoke steering wheel with a backlit Tata logo, a touch-based AC module, a sunroof, a 360-degree camera and sequential turn indicators.
Under the bonnet, the Nexon facelift is rumoured to get Tata's new 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 122 BHP and 225 Nm. The 1.5-litre diesel engine is likely to be carried over as well.
