Toyota might soon update the Camry Hybrid line-up with the addition of a few more features. The automaker hasn't made any official announcement yet about the impending update.

The updated model will get some noteworthy feature additions, including a 12 speaker JBL sound system, which will be replacing the 10 speaker system currently on offer. The infotainment system will be updated to include MapMyIndia navigation, while Toyota will also be offering wireless charging for cell phones. Occupant safety will get an upgrade with the inclusion of 2 more airbags, taking the total count to 9 airbags. Toyota will also add Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) to the Camry Hybrid.

No mechanical changes will be made to the Camry Hybrid, as it will continue to be powered by the 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine which works in tandem with an electric motor to churn out a cumulative power output of 202 BHP. The powertrain is mated to an e-CVT gearbox.
