Rumour: XUV300 Diesel BS6 to be priced from Rs.8.69 lakh

The Mahindra XUV300 is expected to be launched with a BS6 compliant diesel engine in the near future. The SUV is likely to be offered in six variants with prices starting at Rs. 8,69,130 (ex-showroom).

The XUV300 diesel is expected to come in W4, W6, W8, W8 (O), W6 AMT and W8 (O) AMT variants. The top-spec manual variant could be priced at Rs. 12,14,129, while the top-spec AMT variant is expected to be priced at Rs. 12,69,001. The prices are almost the same as the BS4 model, with a maximum increase of Rs. 901.

The XUV300 is expected to get a BS6-compliant 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed AMT. In BS4 configuration, this engine produces 115 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 300 Nm @ 1,500-2,500 rpm.
