Scoop! 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto leaks ahead of launch

Reports suggest that Maruti will bring back the Alto K10 moniker this time around.

The first undisguised images of the next-gen Maruti Suzuki Alto have surfaced online. The car was spotted during a TVC shoot.

The latest images suggest that the new-gen Alto will get several cosmetic updates. The car has reprofiled tail lamp clusters with a prominent shoulder line and a reworked rear bumper. Note that both cars featured in this image have wheel caps instead of alloys.

The new Alto is expected to be offered with the same 796cc engine as before. This unit puts out 47 BHP and 69 Nm and will come paired with a 5-speed manual transmission.

Reports suggest that Maruti will bring back the Alto K10 moniker this time around. It is expected to use a new 1.0-litre petrol engine which could be paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT.
