This year, MG is all set to launch its premium MPV, the Mifa 9 in India. It will be called the M9 and will be sold via the MG Select premium outlets. While MG has already shared images of the India-spec M9, here are the first spy images of the car being tested on our roads.
The MG M9 MPV was spotted testing on NE01 connecting Ahmedabad and Vadodara in Gujarat. It has a boxy design that’s typical of vehicles in this class. It features sleek LED DRLs and LED headlamps positioned on the front bumper with a chrome element running along its edges, vertical LED taillights with an LED light bar, and power sliding rear doors.
The MG M9 is a 7-seater MPV with three-row seating. It has ottoman seats in the second row, which are ventilated and have a massage function. The car also gets other creature comforts like 3-zone automatic climate control, dual sunroofs, and rear seat entertainment screens.
In India, the M9 is expected to come with a pure electric powertrain. The car will get a 90 kWh battery pack that has a claimed WLTP range of 430 km.
