The upcoming Hyundai Santro has been spotted at a dealership. The spy images reveal the car's front and rear ends as well as its interior.

The images indicate that the new Santro gets sweptback headlamps and a large, black cascade grille with a chrome border at the front. The grille is flanked by a pair of fog lamps. The car has ORVMs with integrated turn-indicators and at the rear, it gets wraparound tail lights and a wide windscreen with a rear wiper and washer. The number plate is housed on the rear bumper. The car also has a rear view camera.

The Santro gets black and beige dual-tone interiors and upholstery. The car is expected to come with a multi-function steering wheel. The centre facia has a silver insert surrounding the air-conditioner vents and houses a touchscreen infotainment system. The infotainment system will reportedly get Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Rotary knobs for the air-conditioner are seen just below the touchscreen and reports suggest that rear air-conditioner vents will also be on offer. The gear lever has silver trim around its base and a set of buttons can be seen on the centre console behind the gear shifter.

The new Santro is likely to be offered with a 1.1-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that develops 68 BHP and 104 Nm of torque. The engine is expected to be offered with manual and automated manual transmission (AMT) gearbox options. This will be the first time Hyundai will offer an AMT on any of its cars. The hatchback is expected to have a claimed ARAI fuel economy of 20.3 km/litre

Bookings for the new Santro are rumoured to open on October 10, 2018, while the car is expected to be launched on October 24. The colour of the car at the launch is expected to be green. Hyundai is expected to price the Santro between Rs. 3.69 lakh and Rs. 5.40 lakh.
