Scoop! Tata discontinues a few diesel variants of the Nexon

Tata has constantly been making small changes to the Nexon.

According to a leaked communication to its dealers, Tata Motors is said to have discontinued a few diesel variants of the Nexon SUV. These include the XE, XMA, XZ, and XZA+ (S) trims. Dealers are no longer accepting bookings for the same.

Tata has constantly been making small changes to the Nexon. Just last week, the SUV was updated with a new set of 5-spoke alloy wheels. The updated models have now started reaching the dealerships. Similarly, Tata Motors also updated the interiors of the Nexon last month by deleting the physical buttons and knobs on the centre console. These functions have now been integrated into the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Along with this, Tata Motors has also discontinued the Tectonic Blue colour from the Nexon.

The crossover is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that produces 118 BHP and 170 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel with 108 BHP and 260 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT.
