If you’re a motorsports fan, you’ve probably heard of an extremely talented young lad who made his debut in Formula 1 in 1984 and went on to win three World Driver’s Championship titles. Of course, we’re talking about Ayrton Senna – one of the legends of Formula 1.
A new mini-series titled ‘Senna’ is now airing on Netflix. The 6-part series showcases the Brazilian F1 driver’s triumphs and disappointments, his personality and personal relationships, and more.Â
The mini-series is based on the legendary driver’s motor racing career which began with Formula Ford, right up to the tragic accident, which took his life during the San Marino Grand Prix at Imola.Â
Gabriel Leone plays the role of Ayrton Senna. Matt Mella plays Alain Prost, Patrick Kennedy plays McLaren team principal Ron Dennis, Steven Mackintosh is in the role of Williams boss Frank Williams, and Tom Mannion will play FIA doctor Professor Sid Watkins.
