Skoda Kushaq Matte Black edition in the works?

The Kushaq Matte Black edition is expected to be offered with the same 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines.

A test mule of the Skoda Kushaq was recently spotted on public roads. At first glance, the car looks pretty standard, but reports suggest, Skoda could be working on a new special edition.

The test car featured in these spy images is painted in a matte black exterior colour. This has led to speculations that a Kushaq Matte Black edition might be on the cards.

Besides the new exterior shade, the Kushaq could get black skid plates, black roof rails and a matching shark fin antenna. The SUV might also get an all-black interior to go with the dark theme.

If launched, the Kushaq Matte Black edition is expected to be offered with the same 1.0-litre and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines. The 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic and 7-speed DSG automatic transmissions are likely to be carried over unchanged as well.
