Skoda Slavia customer deliveries to start in March 2022

The carmaker is yet to confirm the official launch date of the Skoda Slavia.

Zac Hollis, Director, Sales and Marketing, Skoda India, has confirmed that customer deliveries of the Slavia will start in March this year. However, the carmaker is yet to confirm the official launch date of the new mid-size sedan.

The Skoda Slavia is based on the MQB A0 IN platform shared with the Kushaq. The car will be offered in three trims - Active, Ambition and Style and equipped with features like a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit, 2-spoke steering wheel, digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, wireless charging and 6 airbags.

The Slavia comes with two engine options - a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 113 BHP and 178 Nm and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor producing 148 BHP and 250 Nm.

A 6-speed manual transmission is offered as standard with both engines. Additionally, the 1.0L engine gets a 6-speed automatic option, while a 7-speed DSG is available with the 1.5L engine.
