Skoda Slavia first design sketches revealed

The Skoda Slavia is based on the MQB A0-IN platform that is shared with the Kushaq.

Skoda has revealed the first design sketches of the upcoming Slavia mid-size sedan. The car will be unveiled on November 18, 2021.

The Slavia is the second new model under the India 2.0 project. The car is based on the MQB A0-IN platform that is shared with the Kushaq.

The Slavia looks like a typical Skoda sedan. The classy design is similar to the Octavia and features clean lines with a bold front grille and sharp LED headlamps on either side. At the rear, the Slavia features L-shaped taillamp units with the 'Skoda' lettering in the centre.

The Slavia will be offered with two engine options. These include a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 113 BHP and 178 Nm and a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol motor producing 148 BHP and 250 Nm. A 6-speed manual transmission will be offered as standard with both engines. The former will get a 6-speed automatic option, while a slick 7-speed DSG will be available with the 1.5L engine.
