Skoda Superb facelift launched in India from Rs. 18.87 lakh

Czech automaker, Skoda has launched the Superb facelift in India at Rs. 18.87 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Superb gets a number of tweaks to its exterior. At the front, there is a new grille with Skoda’s new logo in keeping with Skoda’s new design language, new bi-xenon headlights with integrated LED DRLs and LED turn-indicators, a new bonnet, new fenders and a new bumper. At the rear, there are new tail lights, new bumper, and a new boot lid. The number plate has been relocated to the boot lid from the bumper. Three new shades have been added to the Superb’s colour palatte – Metal Grey, Magnetic Brown and Brilliant Silver. The car rides on 16-inch alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Superb has been given a new steering wheel.

The Superb is available in Ambition and Elegance trims. There is a choice of two engines:

  • 1.8 TSI, petrol – 160 bhp, 250 Nm, 6-speed manual / 7-speed DSG transmission
  • 2.0 TDI, diesel – 140 bhp, 320 Nm, 6-speed DSG transmission
