South India accounts for nearly 50% of MG India's EV sales

MG sold 22,646 electric vehicles in 2024. Out of these, 10,698 units were sold in South India.

According to JSW MG Motor India, South Indian markets accounted for nearly half of its EV sales in 2024.

As per Vahan data, MG sold 22,646 electric vehicles in 2024. Out of these, 10,698 units were sold in South India. That’s 47.2% of the brand’s total EV sales.

The highest number of MG EVs were sold in Karnataka, followed by Telangana in second place and Kerala in third spot.

MG currently offers multiple EV options catering to different segments of the market. The MG Comet is the brand’s entry-level offering, which is priced at Rs 4.99 lakh (excluding the battery pack). The Windsor EV is priced from Rs 9.99 lakh, while the ZS EV starts at Rs 13.99 lakh.
