Ssangyong E100 electric SUV teased

Ssangyong has released a teaser image of the upcoming E100 electric SUV.

The E100 could be based on the Mahindra Electric Scalable and Modular Architecture (MESMA). While the overall shape of the E100 looks similar to the Tivoli, the car features a blanked-out grille and a re-profiled front bumper.

Ssangyong hasn't released technical specifications of the E100 yet, but the Mahindra eXUV300, which shares the same platform has a 350 V electric powertrain with LG Chem lithium-ion batteries offering a range of up to 370 km on a single charge.

The Ssangyong E100 will be unveiled in Korea in the near future.
