Suzuki Intruder 150 images leaked ahead of launch

Suzuki is expected to launch a new 150 cc cruiser bike in India. According to one media report, the Intruder 150 could be launched during the first week of next month.

Recently leaked images suggest that the styling of the Intruder 150 will be based on the Intruder M800 and Intruder M1800. The headlamp looks similar to the ones fitted to the larger capacity bikes. It gets a dual-tone fairing in the front which wraps around the fuel tank and a low-slung seat. It also appears to have a raised digital instrument cluster. The side-mounted exhaust seems to have been borrowed from the Gixxer.

According to the leaked brochure, the Intruder 150 will get full-LED headlights and tail lights. ABS is also likely to be offered. It is expected to be powered by a single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. It might be the same powerplant that is offered on the Gixxer. Besides this, it might use the same front and rear disc brake setup as the Gixxer.

The leaked images indicate that the new bike might be offered in three colour options – silver, black and gold. The Suzuki Intruder 150 is expected to compete with the Bajaj Avenger in the Indian market.
