Suzuki Intruder with fuel injection launched at Rs. 1.07 lakh

Suzuki has introduced a new variant of the Intruder with a fuel-injected 155 cc engine. The Intruder-FI is priced at Rs. 1,06,896 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

In terms of its dimensions, the Intruder-FI is identical to the carburetted version, which was launched back in November 2017. The bike measures 2,130 mm in length, 805 mm in width and 1,095 mm in height. Its wheelbase is 1,405 mm and the seat height is 740 mm.

The styling of the Intruder-FI is based on the larger Intruder M800 and M1800R models. It features a triangular headlamp with an LED position lamp and a side fairing with the Intruder logo. There is a plastic fairing around the base of the handlebars, which houses a digital instrument cluster. At the rear, the bike gets an LED tail lamp and a V-shaped twin exhaust muffler finished in chrome.

Powering the Intruder-FI is a 154.9 cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which produces 14.6 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 14 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike rides on conventional telescopic front forks and monoshock rear suspension, while brakes come in the form of disc brakes on both ends with ABS.

The Intruder-FI comes in two, dual-tone colour options - Metallic Oort/Metallic Matt Black No 2 and Glass Sparkle Black/Metallic Matt Titanium Silver.
