Suzuki reopens bookings for the 2021 Hayabusa in India

Suzuki will start deliveries of the second batch in August.

Suzuki has started accepting bookings for the second batch of the 2021 Hayabusa in India. Deliveries are expected to commence in August.

The 2021 Hayabusa was launched in April this year and the first batch of 101 bikes was sold out in just 2 days. Since then, Suzuki had halted bookings. However, dealerships have started taking orders recently. The booking amount is set at Rs. 1 lakh.

The new-gen Hayabusa is the first full model change in 13 years, yet it looks similar to the outgoing model. It comes equipped with Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS), Power Mode Selector, Motion Track Traction Control, Anti-lift Control, Engine Brake Control and Active Speed Limiter.

The Hayabusa is powered by a 1,340cc, 4-stroke, fuel-injected, liquid-cooled, DOHC, in-line 4-cylinder engine that delivers 187 BHP @ 9,700 rpm and 150 Nm @ 7,000 rpm.
