Suzuki RM-Z250 & RM-Z450 Motocross bikes launched

Suzuki has launched the RM-Z250 and RM-Z450 Motocross bikes in India. The bikes are priced at Rs. 7.10 lakh and Rs. 8.31 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) respectively.

The RM-Z250 measures 2,170 mm in length, 830 mm in width and 1,270 mm in height with a wheelbase of 1,475 mm and the ground clearance of 345 mm. The bike weighs 106 kg. The RM-Z450 measures 2,175 mm in length, 835 mm in width and 1,260 mm in height with a wheelbase of 1,480 mm and ground clearance of 330 mm. The bike weighs 112 kg. Both bikes come with an inverted telescopic suspension with air springs at the front and an oil damped coil spring at the rear.

The RM-Z250 is powered by a 249cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, while the RM-Z450 uses a 449cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit. Both bikes get 5-speed transmissions and ride on 21-inch and 19-inch aluminium spoked rims at the front and rear respectively. They get disc brakes at both ends.

The Suzuki RM-Z250 and RM-Z450 come fitted with Suzuki Holeshot Assist Control (S-HAC) with three settings - A, B and Off, third generation traction management system and Renthal aluminium fatbars. The bikes also come with rich and lean fuel couplers.
