Tata 45X hatchback interior spied

New spy images of Tata's upcoming 45X hatchback have surfaced online. The images reveal the car's interior and instrument cluster.

The styling of the 45X hatchback will be based on Tata's Impact Design 2.0 philosophy. The images suggest that on the inside, the car gets a dashboard with dual-tone colour scheme with chrome inserts at various places and a floating touchscreen infotainment system. The controls for the automatic climate control look similar to those seen in the upcoming Harrier SUV. A 12V charging port is placed below the climate control console. The car has a 3-spoke, flat bottom, multi-function steering wheel. Its engine start/stop button can be seen on the right hand side of the steering wheel and its gear knob has chrome detailing.

The second image is claimed to be of the 45X's instrument cluster. It has an analogue speedometer on the right and a digital screen consisting of the tachometer and MID on the left.

The Tata 45X hatchback is expected to compete with the Hyundai i20 and Maruti Baleno. Media reports suggest that the car could be powered by the 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol and 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engines from the Nexon.
