Tata Altroz iCNG design highlights & features detailed in video

The Altroz iCNG will be available in four variants: XE, XM+, XZ and XZ+.

Tata Motors opened its order books for the Altroz iCNG earlier this week. The carmaker has now shared a video that details the car's design highlights and features.

The Altroz iCNG was showcased at Auto Expo 2023. The one thing that stood out right away were the two small CNG cylinders tucked away under the boot floor. This helps liberate much-needed boot space, which would otherwise be taken up by a large CNG cylinder.

The video also showcases some of the features and creature comforts that will be available in the Altroz CNG. The car is equipped with a digital instrument cluster, similar to the Tiago, a sunroof and an engine start / stop button with a CNG mode toggle switch. It also gets projector headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic climate control, cruise control and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

The Altroz iCNG uses the same 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine as the standard Altroz. It makes 84 BHP and 113 Nm when running on petrol and 76 BHP and 97 Nm in CNG mode.
