Tata Avinya steering wheel design patent filed

The patented 2-spoke steering wheel is like the one seen in the concept car.

Tata Motors has filed a patent for a new steering wheel design that will be offered in the upcoming Avinya EV.

The Tata Avinya is likely to feature a 2-spoke steering wheel unlike the one offered in the current crop of Tata cars. The design screams of a luxury-oriented vehicle instead of an outright sporty one.

It is worth noting that the patented 2-spoke steering wheel is like the one seen in the concept car. The Avinya will have a modern interior featuring a simple dashboard with a continuous horizontal element housing the digital instrument cluster and a large floating touchscreen infotainment system in the centre.

Tata Motors hasn’t released the technical specifications of the Avinya yet. However, we can expect the premium EV range to come in single and dual-motor configurations.
