I also took a TD of the Curvv today, for half an hour around Kathrikkadavu area in Kochi. Kochiites would know how that region is wrt the roads, and provides a great feel for how typical indian roads would be in terms of irregular bumpy patchy roads with good stretches in between.
Has to be said, the ride quality on the Curvv felt absolutely top class. Very impressed with how it took the irregular city roads, and the power delivery is good enough (enough for any normal driver).
Yes, the rear seats knee room could have been improved but the ride quality actually masks that. Ofcourse if you're largely built you will find it a bit cramped, but for me or my family members (160-170 cm height adults), it wasn't bad in any way. (For reference, we felt the BE6 rear seats as being unsuitable for our needs). The power of Curvv EV is no match to a BE6, but hey, the power is more than what is required for any Indian road. Instant torque is still very impressive.
Yet to take a TD of the Windsor, but I have physically inspected it. The interior space feels way more luxurious than any of its rivals, but I have seen almost all reviews criticising it's ride quality (due to stiff suspension). This is a deal breaker for me. Add to that, many have said that it could have been a bit better in terms of power output. However, I don't want to conclude on it since I am yet to drive it (I am waiting for Windsor pro to be available for TD in Kochi).
Considering all these factors, Curvv EV seems to give the best of both worlds : fun to drive, great ride quality, decent enough space (with a massive boot), good power.
If only Tata could have compromised 50L of the boot to allow for a lengthier rear seat, Curvv would have been the ideal EV below 20L IMO. But even now, it seems to be the best of both worlds.
I do agree that tata could price it a bit more competitively. I am waiting for tata to reduce the prices too of the Curvv, with harrier ev coming in and Windsor pro eating into its sales.
