Tata delivers 100 Safaris in Delhi-NCR in one day

The Safari is available in 6 variants - XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ and XZ+. The top-spec XZ+ variant comes in "Adventure Persona" trim.

Tata Motors has delivered 100 units of the new Safari in Delhi-NCR in one day.

The Tata Safari was launched on February 22. The SUV is available in 6 variants - XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ and XZ+. The top-spec XZ+ variant comes in "Adventure Persona" trim. It gets a Tropical Mist exterior with a piano black grille and Charcoal Grey alloy wheels.

The new Safari is based on the OMEGARC platform that is shared with the Harrier. The SUV comes equipped with an 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit that has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, automatic climate control, semi-digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers. It also gets iRA connected car tech.

The new Safari is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 170 BHP and 350 Nm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission.
