Tata DLT intelligent trailer launched

Tata International DLT has launched its first intelligent trailer at the Truck Trailer and Tyre Expo held at Gandhinagar.

The intelligent flat-bed trailer is lightweight and customized for higher payload. It comes fitted with systems that are claimed to enhance operational efficiency, safety as well as security. It features trailer anti-lock or electronic braking control systems to provide up to 40 trailer operating functions. The Trailer Electronic Braking System (T-EBS) is claimed to reduce stopping distances by controlling the trailer's braking and suspension functions.

The Tata DLT intelligent flatbed trailer comes with various optional add-ons. These include a Tailguard, Optiturn, Bounce Control, Smartboard, Trailer remote control, OptiLevel and Optitire.

Currently, the company only offers a flat-bed version of the Intelligent Trailer. Other trailer types will be launched in the future.
