Tata Harrier customer email ids leaked

A CSV file containing approximately 3,800 email ids of customers who have pre-booked the car was leaked inadvertently by Tata Motors.

An email was sent to many customers who have pre-booked the Harrier SUV. The mail mentioned an attachment containing the details of the variants and the colour scheme brochure. Instead, the email contained a CSV file attached to it. The email ids, along with the customer names, were arranged in an alphabetical order. BHPians from Delhi and Pune have reported receiving similar emails. The list of email ids is expected to be zone specific.

The Harrier is powered by the Fiat-sourced 2.0-litre diesel engine putting out 138 BHP @ 3,750 rpm and 350 Nm of torque @ 1,750-2,500 rpm. It is based on the OMEGA platform which has been derived from Land Rover’s D8 architecture.
