Tata launches India's largest tipper truck - Signa 4825.TK

Tata Motors has launched India's first 16-wheeler, 47.5 tonne tipper truck called the Signa 4825.TK.

The Signa 4825.TK has been designed for the transport of coal and construction aggregates. It comes with a 29 cubic meter box load body. The tipper is available in two configurations - 10X4 and 10X2.

The Signa 4825.TK is powered by a Cummins ISBe 6.7-litre BS6 diesel engine that produces 247 BHP and 950 Nm @ 1,000-1,700 rpm. The engine is mated to a heavy duty G1150 9-speed gearbox via a 430 mm organic clutch. The truck comes with three drive modes - Light, Medium and Heavy.

The Signa 4825.TK features a suspended sleeper cabin that has been crash tested, tilt and telescopic steering, 3-way mechanically adjustable driver's seat and air-conditioning. The truck also comes with a blind spot mirror and a solid steel 3-piece bumper.

The tipper is equipped with Hill Start Assist, Engine Brake and iCGT brake. It also has sensors to detect and prevent a possible topple while tipping.

The Signa 4825.TK is offered with a 6 years / 6 lakh km warranty. It comes with Fleet Edge digital fleet management system as standard.
