Tata Nexon to be launched on September 21, 2017

Tata Motors will be launching the Nexon compact SUV on September 21, 2017. Prior to the launch, the Nexon has started arriving at dealerships across India. The vehicle is being dispatched to over 650 authorised retail outlets in a phased manner.

Meanwhile, dealerships have already started accepting bookings for the Nexon. Customers can book the car by paying a booking amount of Rs. 11,000. 

Tata is yet to announce the variant wise pricing for the SUV. The car it is expected to be offered in four variants - XE, XM, XT and XZ+. The Nexon will get a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment, automatic climate control and park assist on higher variants. ABS with corner stability control and dual airbags will be standard across all the variants.

The Tata Nexon will be offered with two engine options - a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 108 BHP and 170 Nm of torque and a new 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine, which makes 108 BHP and a maximum torque of 260 Nm. Both engines will be offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox, although an AMT version is expected to be introduced later.
