Tata Nexon EV Max waiting period at 4 months

It is said that close to 200 cars have been booked in Mumbai alone.

The Tata Nexon EV Max was launched earlier this month, and already, the waiting period for the electric SUV is said to be around 4 months.

According to a media report, close to 200 cars have been booked in Mumbai alone. While 4 months seems like a long wait for the Nexon EV Max, it is worth noting that the standard Nexon EV has a 6-month waiting period.

The Nexon EV Max comes with a larger battery pack and a more powerful electric motor. Its 40.5 kWh battery is said to offer an ARAI-certified range of 437 km, while the power and torque from its electric motor have been upgraded to 141 BHP and 250 Nm respectively.

Tata is also offering two different charger options with the car. Besides the standard 3.3 kW charger, you can get a 7.2 kW AC charger than can recharge the vehicle in 6.5 hours. The car can also be recharged from 0-80% in just 56 minutes using a 50 kW DC fast charger.
