Tata Nexon EV Max will set you back Rs 29 lakh in Nepal

The Nexon EV Max comes with a 40.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that is said to offer a maximum range of 453 km.

Tata Motors has launched the Nexon EV Max in Nepal. The electric SUV costs NPR 46.49 lakh (ex-showroom), which is approximately Rs 29.14 lakh.

The Nexon EV Max is powered by Tata's Ziptron electric powertrain. It comes with a 40.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that is said to offer a maximum range of 453 km on a single charge (under test conditions). It powers an electric motor that has an output of 134 BHP and 250 Nm, which enables the car to sprint from 0-100 km/h in under 9 seconds.

The Nexon EV Max comes with a 7.2 kW AC fast charger, which can be installed either at home or at the workplace. It can charge the battery in 6.5 hours. The electric SUV is also compatible with a 50 kW DC fast charger, which can charge the battery from 0-80% in just 56 minutes.

The Nexon EV Max comes with leatherette upholstery with ventilated front seats, an air purifier, a wireless smartphone charger, auto-dimming IRVM, cruise control, and 3 drive modes: Eco, City and Sport. It gets a Multi-Mode Regen function with 4 options and disc brakes all around.

In Nepal, the Nexon EV Max is available in three colour options: Intensi Teal, Daytona Grey and Pristine White. Dual-tone body colours are offered as standard.
