Tata Motors has launched the Nexon.ev facelift in India. The electric SUV is available in two variants: MR (Medium Range) and LR (Long Range), priced at Rs 14.74 lakh and Rs 19.94 lakh (ex-showroom), respectively.

Unlike the ICE version, the EV gets an LED light bar at the front, a body-coloured front fascia with a different air dam mesh design and new dual-tone alloy wheels. The updated Nexon EV gets V-shaped taillights connected by an LED light bar. Tata claims the new design is more aerodynamic while the LED lighting is more energy efficient.

The electric SUV comes in seven exterior shades: Fearless Purple, Creative Ocean, Daytona Grey, Intensi-teal, Pristine White, Flame Red, and Empowered Oxide.

Inside, the Nexon.ev features an all-new dashboard with a new centre console with haptic touch switches, a 2-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo and a digital instrument cluster. The EV also gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and features like a 360-degree camera, a wireless charger, ventilated front seats, an air-purifier, a single-pane sunroof, voice commands and a new Arcade.ev app suite. There are three driving modes: Eco, City and Sport, and 4-level brake regeneration.

The Nexon.ev MR uses a 30 kWh battery offering 325 km of range, while the LR version gets a 40.5 kWh battery that can cover 465 km on a single charge. Both versions are offered with a 7.2 kW AC charger as standard, which can charge the battery from 0-100% in 4.3 hours and 6 hours, respectively. The Nexon.ev also supports 'Vehicle to Vehicle' and 'Vehicle to Load' charging.

The electric motor powering the MR version develops 127 BHP and 215 Nm. The LR version gets a more powerful electric motor with an output of 143 BHP, but torque remains the same at 215 Nm. According to the company, the LR version can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds and has a top speed of 150 km/h.
