Tata Tiago gets new door pads & lock design

The Tiago no longer comes with the ancient pull / press type door locks.

Tata Motors has updated the interior of the Tiago. The hatchback now gets redesigned door pads.

Another big update are the new door locks which replace the old pull/press type locks. The arm rest has also been redesigned with the power window switches now mounted at an angle.

The 2020 Tiago seen in these images has the Altroz-style steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster. The centre console houses a touchscreen infotainment head-unit.

The Tiago is powered by a BS6-compliant 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 85 BHP and 113 Nm. The engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT). The Tiago is no longer available with a diesel engine but a turbo petrol version is said to be in the works.
