Tata Ultra Sleek T-Series range of trucks unveiled

Built on a modular platform, the Ultra Sleek T-Series range consists of three models - T.6, T.7 and T.9. It comes in varied deck lengths from 10 to 20 feet and 4/6-tyre combinations with a cabin width of 1,900 mm.

Tata Motors has unveiled the Ultra Sleek T-Series range of intermediate and light commercial trucks (I&LCV). These vehicles have been designed and engineered to suit demands of urban transportation.

Built on a modular platform, the Ultra Sleek T-Series range consists of three models - T.6, T.7 and T.9. It comes in varied deck lengths from 10 to 20 feet and 4/6-tyre combinations with a cabin width of 1,900 mm. It is equipped to cater to a wide variety of applications, such as transportation of e-commerce products, FMCG, industrial goods, LPG cylinders, and refrigerated containers for transportation of Covid-19 vaccines, pharmaceuticals as well as food items such as eggs, milk and fresh farm produce.

The Ultra Sleek T-Series range features a walk-through cabin which has been crash-tested. It is equipped with a height-adjustable seat, tilt-and-telescopic power steering, and a dashboard-mounted gear lever. Other features include clear-lens headlamps, LED tail-lamps, an in-built music system and USB fast charging.

The Ultra Sleek T-Series is powered by a BS6 4SPCR engine, which puts out 99 BHP and 300 Nm. It has air brakes and a parabolic leaf suspension.
