Tesla Cybertruck production-ready electric pickup leaked

The Tesla Cybertruck will take on rivals such as the Rivian R1T and Ford F-150 Lightning.

Tesla unveiled its Cybertruck concept almost two years ago. Now, images of what seems to be the near-production ready Cybertruck have leaked online. The images of the prototype are said to have been taken by a Tesla employee and reveal the changes made to the final model before entering production.

In these images, the Tesla Cybertruck can be seen with a single windscreen wiper at the front, positioned next to the A-pillar. The all-electric pickup can also be seen with conventional side-view mirrors, flared wheel arches housing the wheels with a design similar to that of the Model 3.

The pickup has no door handles, while the LED light bar at the front is similar to that seen on the concept. Tesla is also said to have updated the front bumper, which now appears larger and lower. While this would help with aerodynamics, the larger bumper could impede the pickup's off-road capabilities.

The Tesla Cybertruck is said to receive an updated camera system and a self-driving chipset before entering production.
