Top-spec Mahindra XUV700 AX7 trim could cost Rs. 17.20 lakh

All-wheel-drive variants of the XUV700 could command a premium of Rs. 1,50,000 over the standard car.

The Mahindra XUV700 will go on sale soon in India. While the carmaker has revealed prices of select variants, we still don't have the prices for the higher trims, as well as the automatic and all-wheel-drive variants.

Reports suggest that the top-spec 'AX7' range could start from Rs. 17.20 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Petrol MT version. The option packs with additional features like Immersive 3D Sound by Sony, electrically-deployed Smart Door Handles, 360 Surround View, Blind View Monitoring, Electronic Park Brake and Wireless Charging, could add around Rs. 80,000 to the final price of the vehicle. It is also said that the price difference between the 5-seater and 7-seater variants could be Rs. 70,000.

The XUV700 comes with two engine options - 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol producing 197 BHP and 380 Nm and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that makes 182 BHP and 420 Nm (MT) / 450 Nm (AT). Both engines come with a choice of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel-drive will also be available as an option.

Diesel variants are likely to cost Rs. 1,00,000 more than the corresponding petrol variants, while the difference between manual and automatic variants could be Rs. 1,30,000. All-wheel-drive variants of the XUV700 could command a premium of Rs. 1,50,000 over the standard car.
