Tork T6X electric bike spotted testing

Pune-based Tork Motors had unveiled the T6X - its first electric bike back in October 2016. Now, a test mule of the two-wheeler has been spotted.

The Tork T6X is a fully-electric street bike based on a trellis frame. The spy images suggest that the bike is likely to get telescopic suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear. It offers an upright riding position with rear set foot pegs and raised handle bars. The bike has a triangular headlamp and a large battery pack mounted just behind the front wheel.

At the time of unveiling, Tork Motors had announced that the T6X would be powered by an electric motor with an output 27 Nm of torque. It is claimed to have a top speed of 100 km/h. The battery pack is IP certified and is said to offer a maximum range of 100 km on a single charge. The test bike has a chain drive and an unusually large rear sprocket. The bike's braking setup consists of disc brakes at both ends with a combined braking system (CBS).
