Toyota Innova Hycross bookings to open on November 25

Toyota might announce the prices of the Innova Hycross at Auto Expo 2023.

Toyota is set to unveil the Innova Hycross in India on November 25. Now, according to a media report, the carmaker will also open bookings for the MPV on the same day.

The report also states that Toyota might announce the prices of the Innova Hycross at Auto Expo 2023, while deliveries could commence by mid-January.

An official teaser released earlier today showcases the car’s bold design. The new MPV gets a large trapezoidal grille up front with sleek wraparound LED headlamps on either side. The front bumper appears to have triangular vents that house the fog lamps.

On the inside, the Innova Hycross is expected to get a different dashboard layout with a touchscreen infotainment system in the centre. The car is also expected to get features like a panoramic sunroof with roof-mounted AC vents, a digital instrument cluster, height-adjustable seat belts, ambient lighting as well as ADAS.

The Innova Hycross is said to be based on the TNGA-C platform and will be front-wheel drive only. It will be powered by a 2.0-litre petrol-hybrid engine, details of which are still unclear. In India, the Innova Hycross is expected to be positioned above the current Innova Crysta. Maruti Suzuki will also have its own version of the MPV.
