Toyota Yaris facelift official teasers out

Toyota has released a couple of teaser images of the Yaris facelift. The car, which is also called the Vios, is likely to be unveiled in the Philippines on July 25, 2020.

The Yaris facelift gets a Lexus-inspired grille, a new front bumper and headlamp clusters. The car has large wraparound tail lamps that appear to be similar to those on the outgoing model. It also has dual-tone alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Yaris could also get an updated interior featuring a new touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity. It could also get features such as automatic climate control with roof-mounted air-conditioning vents , cruise control, electric sunroof and power adjustable front seats.

In India, Toyota Yaris is powered by a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine that puts out 106 BHP @ 6,000 rpm and 140 Nm of torque @ 4,200 rpm. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-speed CVT with paddle shifters.

There is no word yet as to when the Yaris facelift will be introduced in India.
