Triumph Rocket 3 '221 Edition' launched in India

The Triumph Rocket 3 '221 Edition' is named after the motorcycle’s ground-breaking peak torque output of 221 Nm.

Triumph Motorcycles has launched the Rocket 3 '221 Edition' in India. There are two variants of the motorcycle - R and GT. The former has been priced at Rs 20.80 lakh whereas the latter costs Rs 21.40 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Triumph Rocket 3 '221 Edition' is named after the motorcycle’s ground-breaking peak torque output of 221 Nm. The figure can also be seen on either side of the bike’s fuel tank.

The special edition also features some fresh graphics. Other cosmetic changes on the Triumph Rocket 3 '221 Edition' include multiple blacked-out parts such as radiator shrouds, windscreen, side panels, rear bodywork and fender brackets.

For the Rocket 3 '221 Edition', Triumph Motorcycles has used an eye-catching and exclusive colour scheme that the British brand likes to call the 'Red Hopper'.

Apart from the cosmetic tweaks, no other changes have been implemented in the Triumph Rocket 3 '221 Edition'. This means, powering the motorcycle is the same gigantic 2,500cc, 3-cylinder engine that makes 165 BHP @ 6,000 rpm.
